Testing Function:
The DPF Cleaning Machine is equipped with a tester function to assess the level of clogging in the DPF both before and after the cleaning process:
- Blue Testing Hose: Located on the right side of the machine, this hose is used for testing purposes. Connect it to the vehicle’s lambda sensor using the appropriate fittings.
- Testing Process: Unlock the "Before Cleaning" pin, leave the "After Cleaning" pin locked, and run the engine at 2500 RPM for 4-5 minutes. The indicator on the machine will display the level of blockage in the DPF.
- After the cleaning is complete, repeat the test to evaluate the effectiveness of the operation.
Cleaning Process Instructions:
- Set the Timer: Using the mini screens on the machine, set the cleaning time (5 minutes per stage).
- Connect the Hoses: Ensure the black hose (included with the machine) is connected properly:
- Iron side of the black hose: Connect to the lambda sensor of the vehicle.
- Plastic side of the black hose: Connect to the machine (inlet located on the side).
- Check Connections: Ensure all hoses are correctly routed to the DPF. Different vehicle models may have varying connection points between the engine, catalytic converter, and particulate filter. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the connections are accurate.
- Start the Vehicle: Run the vehicle's engine at 2500 RPM and maintain this speed throughout the cleaning process.
- Activate Cleaning Stages:
- Turn the A1 pin to begin the first stage. The machine will automatically inject the A1 cleaning liquid for the first 30 seconds while the engine continues running at 2500 RPM.
- The machine will then automatically process the A2 and A3 liquids without any further input from the user.
- For a second A3 cleaning cycle, manually start the process after a 5-minute break by turning the pin on the A3 mini-screen.
Post-Cleaning:
- Repeat if Necessary: If the DPF is severely clogged and no significant discharge of dirt or fog is seen from the vehicle’s exhaust during the A2 and A3 stages, the entire cleaning process can be repeated.
- Final Checks: During stages A2 and A3, expect the machine to discharge dirt and fog through the exhaust as the particulate matter is cleaned out. If the DPF warning light remains on, drive the vehicle for 10-15 km to clear any remaining debris, or manually delete the error code. However, the drive is always recommended to ensure a complete cleaning.
- Lambda Sensor Maintenance: Clean the lambda sensor with an oil-free brake cleaner spray before and after the operation to ensure proper sensor function.
Safety Precautions:
- Always use personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and safety glasses.
- Ensure all cans are placed and connected correctly.
- The machine's liquid levels and pressure are pre-set during production. Do not attempt to alter these settings without consulting the manufacturer.
