Description
Headlight restoration kit for drill or screwdriver – wet sanding, polishing and UV protection
Restore clarity and appearance to cloudy, yellowed or scratched plastic headlight lenses without costly replacement. This complete 22-piece kit enables you to perform all essential restoration stages: gradual removal of degraded surface layers, thorough polishing, and UV protection to preserve the restored finish.
The included adapter for drill or screwdriver makes the work faster and less physically demanding than manual polishing. Seven abrasive grades from P800 to P3000 allow precise adjustment of sanding intensity to match the condition of each headlight.

Key benefits
Complete 22-element kit: All materials required for sanding, polishing, UV protection and masking adjacent bodywork in one package.
Seven abrasive grades: Discs from P800 to P3000 enable gradual surface smoothing. Progressing from coarser to finer abrasives minimizes deep scratching and prepares the lens for polishing.
Convenient drill or screwdriver operation: Included adapter and hook-and-loop backing disc allow fast mounting of abrasive discs and polishing sponge. 70mm diameter suits headlights of various shapes.
Effective surface finishing: Polishing compound removes fine sanding marks and improves lens smoothness and clarity.
Anti-UV protection: Protective liquid forms a barrier against harmful solar radiation and helps maintain the restoration results longer.
Bodywork protection during work: Masking tape with film shields paint, bumper and surrounding components.
Application
This kit is designed for restoring plastic automotive headlight lenses that have become cloudy, yellowed, hazy, lightly scratched or worn-looking over time. Renewing the lenses improves the vehicle's appearance and helps restore proper light transmission.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Surface preparation: Thoroughly wash the headlight and remove sand, dust, grease and all contaminants. Dry the surface. Mask the area around the headlight with the supplied masking tape and film. Protect paint, bumper, seals and other components that could be accidentally scratched.
2. Disc assembly: Place the adapter in the drill or screwdriver chuck and secure it firmly. Mount the appropriate abrasive disc on the hook-and-loop backing disc. Work at low or medium speed. Do not use impact mode.
3. Initial sanding: For heavily clouded or yellowed headlights, begin with P800 grade. Wet both the headlight and the abrasive disc with water. Sand evenly, moving the tool across the entire lens surface. Do not hold the disc too long in one spot. For lighter damage, you may start with a finer grade such as P1000 or P1200.
4. Gradual smoothing: Use discs in sequence: P800 › P1000 › P1200 › P1500 › P2000 › P2500 › P3000. After each grade: rinse the headlight, remove material residue, re-wet and change to the next finer disc. Continuously monitor surface temperature to prevent overheating.
5. Polishing: Rinse and dry the headlight. Attach the polishing sponge to the backing disc. Apply a small amount of polishing compound to the lens before switching on the tool. Polish at low or medium speed without excessive pressure. Move the sponge evenly across the entire surface. Wipe off residue with the orange cloth.
6. UV protection: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and cool. Apply a thin, even layer of anti-UV liquid in alternating horizontal and vertical directions. Do not apply to a hot lens or in direct sunlight. Allow to dry completely and protect from touching, water, dust and precipitation.
