Exhaust backpressure test kit

Description

The use of an exhaust gas backpressure meter also helps to check the emission levels, which determine how much a particular vehicle damages the environment.

The device is easy to use and usually involves hooking it up to the exhaust system. It displays the results immediately on the display, which enables quick and efficient diagnosis and repair.

How to use

Note: Test on a cold engine and finish within a few minutes. Idle, then briefly about 2500 rpm. Do not leave the hose on the lambda-sensor port when the engine is warm — the metal adapter gets hot; the supplied hose is not high-temperature silicone.

On a cold idle the needle may flicker: that is exhaust pulsation.
